Expression of Interest Template

The Expression of Interest (EOI) is a 8 page document, with instructions on tailoring the document and a document revision record. The document then provides instructions to an applicant, where an applicant can fill in their details. The document provides a section for health and safety to be recorded, products and services, capacity and expertise, financial information, conduct and compliance, local content and referees. 

This Expression of Interest (EOI) can be used to identify a wide range of potential suppliers, get an idea of their capabilities and inform them of an upcoming sourcing requirement in your organisation.  EOIs can be published publicly (newspapers, supplier databases etc.) or issued to a selected list of companies.  Note – in some countries it may be mandatory for tenders of a certain nature to be posted publicly.  Be sure to check the regulatory requirements prior to engaging the market.

Once you receive responses to your EOI they will need to be evaluated by your organisation and you can then make a determination for including the applicants in a prequalification exercise or a tender list.
